

Nandita Sarma brings close to 30 years of international experience across senior banking, operations, and transformation roles within leading global financial institutions. She has led large, complex teams through periods of transformation and change, driving operational excellence while building high-performing, engaged organizations. She brings a distinctive ability to integrate strong business and operational rigor with a deep understanding of people and culture.
Her career spans leadership roles at organizations such as Bank of America and GE Medical Systems across India and the US. She has led critical global functions across risk and operations, with demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, cross-functional teams, driving transformation agendas, optimizing processes, and delivering sustained business impact. In her last corporate role as COO of Consumer and Shared Services at Bank of America’s GCC in India, she played a key role in scaling and strengthening the organization. She built governance and risk management frameworks, defined India location strategy, led business continuity planning, and drove employee engagement at scale. She also led the Women’s Program Network (LEAD), where she designed and delivered initiatives that advanced women’s careers and built leadership pipelines.
Alongside her business leadership, Nandita brings strong experience in coaching and capability building. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and has coached leaders across organizations, as well as women entrepreneurs through the Cherie Blair Foundation. She has also led initiatives focused on skilling and enabling women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to enter the workforce, reflecting her deep commitment to inclusive leadership and development.
